The Church is a Place of Worship
Tents give us shelter, comfort, and togetherness. In the same way, the church is a place where God’s people gather with one heart. Under the guidance of the priest, believers unite with God through faith and experience His salvation and grace.
Key Roles of the Church- A Local Sanctuary: As the number of believers grows, new churches are built nearby—often along main roads. This gives travelers a place to stop, pray, offer gifts, and seek God’s protection for a safe journey.
- A Source of Salvation: Hearing God’s Word and praying together in truth builds a strong, Christ-centered life and guides us toward God's plan for salvation.
- A Place of Healing and Freedom: For those suffering physically or emotionally, prayers of repentance and the Holy Qurbana bring strength, hope, and true freedom.
- A Place of Devotion: Daily prayers, fasting, and self-sacrifice bring believers closer to God and help them live holy, meaningful lives.
- A Center of Service and Unity: Through community service, the parish helps everyone regardless of their religion or background. By offering education, care, and support, the church teaches love, unity, and brotherhood.
